Try autotrader.com simply enter your area code.
The easy part is finding a car in your price range, the hard part is getting valid value for your bucks, something that will outlast your investment, go to my website http://www.usedcartips.org/ and navigate to THE TEST DRIVE for starters to learn some steps how to inspect and buy a used car. good luck

Ebay is a great place to start. $2000 is not much to spend. The rule thumb is, you can always have two of the three, but never all three. Number one is "Fast". Number two is "Cheap". Number three is "Reliable". So, here's the deal. If you want a Cheap Reliable car, you will have to be patient in looking for one. You can find one, but you must be willing to do alot of looking. If you want it Cheap and you want it Now, you might not find one that is Reliable. If you want a Reliable car Now , you will have to pay more for it. You can never have it Cheap, Fast, and Reliable. That is "The Law of the Triangle".

No such thing, unless you find a widow that her husband just
died and she doesnt need the second car and you can arm
wrestle her down on the price. Good luck.
