Which is easier to do after 3 years from having filed bankruptcy, buy or lease? Also, does giving $5000 down make it easier to buy or lease a vehicle?

I have an '07 Saturn Vue that we just bought about 2 months ago. I hadn't heard it before but lately if I turn the car on and step out of it and walk toward the back you can hear a slight "put-put" sound and there is this overwhelming smell of some kind of gas (not gasoline smelling) that makes me cough. We have an open carport. I had never had that problem with my other vehicle so I know its not normal. I just was wondering if it is an exhaust leak? Or what it could be?

The car is under warranty for 3 years, if it is an exhaust leak, do you think its worth taking it to the nearest dealership ( 50 miles away) to get it fixed by them, or paying someone else to do it here?

I have a 96 Honda Accord LX (4 cylinder) and I have noticed the oil light started flickering at idle speed (when I have the clutch engaged and sometimes shifting if I don't give it enough gas and the RPMs get low). The oil level is fine when I check. I recently changed the oil myself (usually do) but I can't say for certain the problem started after this. I was hoping it may just be an electrical issue but I doubt it. Anyone know the most likely problem? Thanks.

I went to a dealership, saw a car I really liked; a FULLY loaded '05 nissan maxima SL. I drove it and loved it. They offered 21,500 and I offered 19000. They said for that vehicle they cant do that, so I walked out. They called me the next day (yesterday) and offered it for 20,500. I said 20,000 and he said he has to talk to his boss. He called back and left a message and said he cannot for 20k, the offer still stands at 20,500 b/c it is fully loaded, low miles, navigation, high resale value, blah blah.... I left him a message saying sorry, I will not budge, my offer is 20,000. Thank you for your business. but he never called me back... What now?!? Should I take it for 20,500 or will I be making a terrible mistake? This is my first time, HELP!!!

I have an 87 dodge ram and on the driver door the strip fell off somewhere. This is just sections of black metal panelling that runs the length of both sides of the truck. I don't know the name for this at all and want to look for it. So question 2, other than ebay, any idea where to look?

It is not the reving of the engine(i am not an idiot)- it is under that sound. The car is running fine... heat, accelaration, decelaration-etc...
There is just an underlying winding up and winding as i accelerate and drift..... does anyone have any ideas what this might be?
