I think you are totally getting ripped off. Toyotas are the best cars but $17000 for an almost 50,000 mile car is quite brutal. At 50,000 miles, your car will drain your money because it has no warranty so you'll be paying a lot of money to get it fixed. A car decreases about $5000 in value every year. You might get a new Rav4 for $20000. I think you should go to other dealers and make a deeper comparison because you are getting riped off. If you buy that camry, in the near future you might have to sell it for $2000. I don't know if you're paying in cash or you're getting a loan. Just ask various questions about the warranty, price options, the amount of horse power, and how much gas each car spends, etc.

look up the Kellys blue book but it has low miles and and its only 3 years old Toyota's are good cars but if you are buying this from like a used budget lot take your own mechanic or do that anyways remember you can buy a brand new car for 17,000 i would chew him down to 14,000 for sure and maybe even get money off for a trade in.

Using the information you gave. NADA Dealer Retail is about $14,600. This is about as low as they will go.

This is a popular car. The dealer knows that if you don't buy it, someone else will give them their price.

The NADA Guide is what most dealers use.

You can follow the link below and enter the specifics for yourself to get an even more accurate value of this car.

Anything Honda or Toyota is a smart move. They last over 300 thousand miles and are dependable.

good luck

Low Ball them! Say you can do $12,000 (remember the target is $14,000 but if you can get it cheaper good for u) then they should come back with 16,500, then you go ok 12,500 and they might say the hell with it 16,000 then you say 13,000 then they will go 15,500 hopefully, then so on and so forth. Good Luck.

16,989 is a good deal. 14K is even better. If there's nothing wrong with the car other than scratches, go for it
