Why is it my train runs more or less on time every day except when I have an appointment? When I'm trying to be somewhere at a specific time they're always late. How do they know?

Also as an additional, what actually is a "points failure" as that almost always seems to be responsible? Is it a genuine excuse or do they just say that whenever they run a bit late.

i have 2 cars, ones a vauxhall the other is an audi. The vauxhall had a cam belt change at 4 years old but was 24,000 miles on clock. Vauxhall claim u need a new cambelt every 40,000 miles or every 4 years. The vauxhall now has 49,000 on clock and vauxhall reckons it will need changing at 60,000 miles on its 2nd cambelt. The audi has 44,000 on clock and is 5 years old. Audi reckon it needs a new cambelt asap! It used to be 65,000 miles in every car, whats going on?! I think im being ripped off by both manafacturers. Your opinions please...

Not me. I ' d rather spent this money on people and children in Africa who are starving to deadth . And built schools and sanitary things for them. Make sure they have clean, running water.
What would you do?

I was in a car accident, it was not my fault, the person who crashed into me has taken full responsibility.
I had it for a year, it cost me $1800, from a registered car sale yard, it was a 1994 Nissan Bluebird, well maintained, tidy appearance recently warranted and registered. had just replace winscreen because of a large crack, bought 2 new tyres, and had a service done to it, costing me a bit, and have the paper work to prove it. I did not have insurance.
The other person was insured, and her insurance company decieded they would pay me out $1000, because it would cost $6500 to repair, no negotiating, take it or leave it.
To buy the same car, year condition etc, prices ranged from $2500- $4500, when i asked the insurance company for the minimal they refused.
For a $1000 i cant buy a reliable car, without putting more money into it.
Is it unfair to want my car back in the same condition prior to their client crashing into me? or a resonable pay out, to buy a reliable car.

I drive an Infiniti G35 coupe. My car makes a wheezing sound, like something is spinning but rubbing against something, but only around 1800-2000 rpm, but it happens in all my gears.
