Kill switch on? Strange about the horn. Could be the battery and it's just coincidence that this all happend at the same time the battery was about to die. (Although you probably would have noticed the battery going bad as they usually don't just quite all of a sudden.
Oil in the bike?

If the other suggestions check out and if your bike has a clutch activated starter interlock, check the little switch located at the clutch pivot point and the neutral switch wire connection at the transmission. If the electrical system is up, make sure you can get the neutral light to show by wiggling the shifter. I've had several bikes and when in neutral, one will start with the clutch in or out but when in gear or close enough that the neutral light doesn't show, it won't do a thing with the clutch out. Another had to have the clutch in whether it was in gear or not. My Voyager kills the engine if you begin to release the clutch with it in gear and the kickstand down.

Check main fuse (and other fuses also). Check wiring to battery and make sure connectors are tight.

Do the lights and/or indicator lights come on? Does it click when you try to crank it? (if yes, then you don't have enough power to crank the starter). (If no, then fuse maybe be blown or there is an open connection somewhere).

Can you push-start it? (if yes, then you probably have a weak battery, a bad connection to the battery, or the starter (or its solenoid) isn't working). (If no, then sames as "no" to the above).

Also, does your bike start when not in neutral? If it doesn't, then possibly either the bike isn't in neutral properly, or the neutral switch is not working right.
