If shes going to drive your car, yes it is. But if shes planning to have her own car I think much better for her to have her own car insurance provider, although for her young age she might be having a much higher car insurance premium. But it not a problem anyway because there are lots of car insurance company that offering a much car insurance rate for that age. I believe so. Insurance companies put every licenced driver in a household at "risk" of driving any vehicle in it. She won't be a primary driver thou.

The best thing is to check with your insurance company. Trying to hide may lead to an issue with them as may be getting this info from a drivers licencing department anyway.

Good luck!

Yes. Car insurance carriers need to know everyone who is in the household that has a license unless they have their own insurance. This may raise your premium a bit because she would be considered "high risk" but not much.

Although some companies cover others in the family or others you allow to drive your vehicle, there is often a minimum age requirement. Check with your insurance company. Better safe than sorry.

Yes. All licensed drivers in your household that do not have their own insurance need to be listed on your policy. Not doing so is misrepresentation and therefore, insurance fraud.

yes right now! i am surprised you could get her a license without showing proof of insurance. if she lives in your home (which i assume she does) she HAS to be listed as a driver on your policy or your insurance will NOT cover her

Technically she might not have to be. If you are not in a high risk company then anybody you give permission to use your vehicle is covered and all blood relatives are automatically covered even if they aren't on your policy. Read your policy and find out if they would cover a claim if somebody that isn't on your policy was driving.
