are there any popular auto repair franchises that over auto repair financing? name them. rather than getting a different car, i want to fix everything on my wold car at one time to restore it.

I have a bunch or parts from a Pontiac Bonneville. (Rims, CD/Cass/AM/FM radio, Moonsoon Amp, Heads Up Display, ect). Where would be a good website that I could sell these at?

98 Ford Exploder V-6, after replacing a very dead battery (bad cells+8 yrs old) checking the alternator showed at 2000rpm only 65 peak amps on the meter. Can the alternator fade or do they just go out completely? or is this still a good charging amperage? the Exploder sits for 2 weeks at a time and then driven for 3-4 days then sits for 2 weeks again, should I get a new alternator or try one of those solar trickle chargers?

recently my family and i bought a new Ford F-150 Lariat and about 2 months after we purchased the vehicle when i turned it on the radio/stereo did not turn on in the manual we found nothing of it and the screen on the stereo didnt even turn on can u help me?

I was involved in a 3 car collision, I was the car in the middle. I was hit first from the back and due to the impact my vehicle skid and hit the vehicle on my right lane as i turned my steering when i was hit being scared of the fact that i may injure my face. Now i am not at fault as per the police report, as i was hit first. But the insurance company of the guy who hit me is taking a really long time to investigate this and trying to make me the culprit in the situation. So did i do anything wrong by turning the stering to my right when i was hit. Am i responsible for damages to the front of my car? The traffic was heavy and i was about 3/4 th car distance away from the car in front of me. Any ideas about this issue?

My car tax needs renewing at the end of this month. However, I have just moved house and forgot to tell them in advance. Hence, the renewal notice has gone to the old address and I can't get it. Apparently there is a way you can tax a car as long as you have valid MOT and insurance without the renewal notice. The woman at the Post Office said it was a New Keeper's document or something. Is this right? What do they need from this document? Thanks for any help

windscreen wipers that are in perfect condition still
leaves blurry film on windscreen. It is not the washer

i have a 2000 dodge ram 1500. 2 days ago the air was ice cold and now its warm. the clutch keeps kicking on and off about every 5 second. i put a pressure gauge on and there is still freon in the system. but when the clutch engages the pressure drops down to about 20, then when the clutch disenagages the pressure goes up to about 45. what could be wrong or how can i get the air to blow cold again?

It was a stock ecotec 2.4L now after the rebuild cracking about 330 hp to 340 hp was use 5w-30 I think . Its first oil change after the rebuild I found slug a buddy told me to try castro syntech 5W-50 does that sound right?

A lady hit me in a parking lot 3 days after I bought my car. she wasn't even paying attention to the road. and my car was parked, but I was in it.

now my axle on my car is broken and the finder too...

She has insurance, but, will her insurance company still pay for my car even though i didn't have insurance yet.

I bought a car from a party and they also said they would finance the car for me. Now I feel like the guys trying to rip me off always claiming this is due and that is due for taxes, tags etc. When I get annoyed and tell him I'm fed up with this he says fine I'll just report the car stolen to the authorities and let them deal with it. Can he do this even if we have a signed contract with both of our drivers licenses under the contract and signature? The car is insured by me. Can I get in trouble if he reports the car stolen? The contract clearly states that I am taking posession of the car and I am to make payments monthly. I also haven't been a day late on a single payment and have the records to prove it.

We were wondering why UK personalised number plates are so expensive - I mean to say why would someone want to pay in excess of £200K for a personalised plate?

we have been having problems with the way our 90 accord ex has been running.my husband has been trying to find out what is wrong and we think it is a part he found.the problem is,is that we dont know what this is.it was attached to the fuel injector,its a small part only a couple of inches long...

There used to be a small "c" type clip on my Craftsman imapct gun and now it fell off and i cant find it.Now my sockets fall off everytime i try to use it. Is there anyhting i can do to keep my sockets on the gun without the small clip.Anyway to "rig" it. I doubt any parts store will have this clip if i ask for it.Thanks.

I am going to buy a sailboat next spring (16-22ft). I live in upstate NY and everything freezes in the winter. Can I keep the boat in the slip all year, or will the hull crack? Should I pull the boat out for the winter months?

Im trying to put the new links on. The top nut is tight enough, but the bottom is giving some problems. I can only get the bottom nut finger tight. When I try to tighten it further, the bolt spins along with the nut, so I cannot get it tighter. Does anyone have any suggestions or tricks to tightening this?

does penndot have the authorization that the cops do or do u have to get in trouble with the police to get your license taken away. i mean can PennDOT take you license if u walked in the driver license center and said "i'm gonna drive recklassy and dangerously and u people cant do anything about it!" I mean involving the road how are they compared to the cops is my question?

The car is a 92 hyundai, there is a crack in the radiator and we have an estimate or two to install a new radiator and thermostat, but think the estimate is rather high at 672$.
