i have a 2000 dodge ram 1500. 2 days ago the air was ice cold and now its warm. the clutch keeps kicking on and off about every 5 second. i put a pressure gauge on and there is still freon in the system. but when the clutch engages the pressure drops down to about 20, then when the clutch disenagages the pressure goes up to about 45. what could be wrong or how can i get the air to blow cold again?

Feel the lines from the inside of the cab. The clutch might have been kicking on and off for the last year. That doesn't mean the system isn't working. If one of the lines is cold then it's the mixture door in the vent system that's bad.
You really need to monitor the high and low sides of the compressor at the same time to see if it's working right.
