I have a pontoon boat, and I am trying to put a stereo in it. And I was thinking about instead of going with a marine 6 1/2" going with a pair of bose 151 outdoor speakers(older model not the se). The price isnt to bad comparitively and the sound quality out of the fully enclosed 151s is alot better. I am worried about ohms and maybe wattage compared to a house stereo. Will it sound close to as well using a car stereo? I dont want to use an amp and those speakers say rated for 40 watts I believe. which doesnt sound like much for a car stereo, but a house stereo 40 watts may be considered more. Any experts on the subject with an opinion appreciated.. tia

Hi all....I have an 8yr old fiat Punto - 45000 miles. Was coming home tonight and found that I had a prob with my accelerator or gears. I get this really bad chugging noise.....also have a burning smell......any ideas????
I will be taking it in to the garage tomorrow!

I got stopped by a CHP officer last Saturday morning. It was my first ticket. I was westbound on the leftmost lane of the Santa Monica freeway with my wife and daughter in the backseat. The officer was calm and nice about it. I did not argue with him. I just did what he asked me to do. Any idea how much the fine is? I still have yet to get the courtesy mail and I'm getting annoyed by the thought of paying a lot.

I have a 1995 dodge neon and it just starting knocking I was told that this could be because it needs a oil change I drive my car every day it town out of town every where and it has been over 3,000 miles since it had a oil chage could that be it?

Okay. My new car is sitting in my driveway, and the paperwork is done. However, the $23,000 wire transfer has not gone through because of a misquote. I was guaranteed $9500 minimum for my trade, over the phone. The entire sale has been handled via internet and phone. My mother is the one actually purchasing the car with cash, but in the paperwork she received with the trade amount, it says $8500, not $9500. So rather than the $23,000 she expected, its $24,000. I know with that kind of cash, $1000 doesnt seem like a big deal, but obviously it is. Not only to my mother, but to the dealership. The are claiming that they quoted $9500 based on a 2003 vehicle. Well, its a 2002, and I know for a fact that that is not my miscommunication. Regardless, the dealership refuses to budge to get the sale. They are saying they will be taking a loss by attaching another $1000 to my trade. But my mother says this is not what she agreed to, and will not send the money until corrected.....

I have an 18 1/2 ft. Kenner center console w/ 115hrp. 2st. Engine. 36 gallon tank. I know that weather and swells may vary but generrally how far out or how deep is too much when fishing the bay area in Port Aransas Tx. I don't know much about the ocean but I have had my share of rough deep sea fishing trips that have made me want to never go out again but the deck hands seemed not be phased a bit.

I live in MA and know that in NH, you dont have to wear a helmet while riding a motorcycle...but does this apply to out of state residents? can a non NH rider be pulled over for the lack of a helmet? I heard this once from someone and became confused.

My city just had those red light cameras installed at several intersections. I was always taught in driver's ed that if you enter the intersection (cross the last line of the crosswalk) when the light is still yellow, then it's legal, but these cameras seem to accuse people of running a red light even if it wasn't red when they entered.

I know it depends on state law, but what is your understanding? When is it "running a red light?" How do you decide when to stop and when to punch it and go through?

Anyone with personal experience with a red light camera giving you a ticket when you don't think you deserved one?
