i have a 2000 ford ranger flare side. i need to hook up a reese hitch to it. i went to walmart and found one for my year and model but it says it wont go on a flare side. doesnt a regular bed and a flare side bed have the same frame? would it still work?

Is TSA really keeping you safe while flying?

With all of the news about the plot discovered by the British involving the liquids, is TSA taking all of your perfumes, toothpaste, shampoos, and similar items really keeping you safe? After all, the plot was discovered before anyone ever got to an airport. Do you really think that airport security could have prevented the bombings? After all, the list of restricted items is available to anyone, and that includes terrorists.

Grand Prix replacement Center caps?

94 Chevy Cavalier Check Engine Light Problem?

When i drive my chevy cavalier 2.2l 4cyl for more than about 10 to 15 mins 40mph or above, the check engine light turns on. Checked ecm for codes found none. Replaced Oxygen Sensor because it was all rusty anyways, but still didn't fix problem. When i turn the car off and on again the check engine light wont go on again untill i drive 10 to 15 mins above 40mph. No idea what is wrong any help is greatly apprieciated.

What's better, a VW TDI or a Mercedes Turbo Diesel?

I'm looking for a turbo diesel to run biodiesel in and possibly do a greasecar conversion with. The later 90's and up TDI's get 40-50mpg, not sure on the MB's. What's made your decision in a MB over a VW for a turbo diesel?

Rubbing sound in 95 Cutlass Supreme?

I have a rubbing sound that seems to be coming from the right rear area when the car is in motion. It sounds like a low pitched scraping and it is still present when the engine off (if the car is being moved by pushing it). It is present at all speeds and seems to be on 75% of the time and off 25% of the time, and the intervals get faster as the car goes faster. I looked back there and I looked at the tire and didn't see any wear spots. What could it be?

in calif, how many points must you have on your driving record before DMV takes your license?

this has been the worst year i have ever had when it comes to my driving record. Up until Dec. 31st, 2005 - i had never had a ticket of any kind, and i have had my CA drivers license since age of 16.

There are NO DUI's --thats good...but there was an accident (1st one ever) on 12/31/05, then others are speeding, and intersection --yellow to red...

WHY do car salesmen on TV think they have to HOLLER and YELL?

Don't they know that recently volume controls were added to television sets? Why YELL at me? Why holler? Just talk in a normal voice and if you are a good salesman/woman, you will not HAVE TO YELL at the camera! So, WHY do they yell at us?

Thinking about buying a 81 volvo with 6cyl DIESEL motor, im told the motor is really a vw?

put in volvo cars made by VW because volvo didn;t make one but wanted to offer a diesel car,also im told the vw 6cyl was ment by vw really to be put in small delivery trucks, all of what i have heard is maybe not based on real facts from vw or volvo,so i guess im trying to find out more, to learn if these motors are what they say they are, and also could they be a quality built motor a dependable one as well, i have one found for $200 dollars said to run,if parts are easy to buy maybe rebuild it and install in a later model isuzu 2x rodeo there is just enough room, and i forgot to say never buy a isuzu rodeo buy something different with your money, they are all 100% trouble------- SO if anyone knows something about this volvo motor please let me know, and thank you so very much for your time.

How to PASS the Driver License test?

I'm going to take the driver license tomorrow morning (8 hours from the time I'm writing this question). I have failed 2 times before.
