i have a 2000 ford ranger flare side. i need to hook up a reese hitch to it. i went to walmart and found one for my year and model but it says it wont go on a flare side. doesnt a regular bed and a flare side bed have the same frame? would it still work?

Draw-tite part #75082 will fit the flairside model.
But it's for vehicles with factory installed step bumpers only. The weight rating is 4000 lbs.

try it if not put back in box and get your money back,the only problem i see is the bumper clearence.
