I've been trying to find tips & info about how to care for your leather seats & interior in your car, however I haven't found really anything.

I know how to clean them, but as far as conditioning them & doing other things to help make them last, I don't even know where to start.

What leather cleaners & conditioners do you recommend? Where can I buy them? What tips & techniques do you suggest that I use to help improve & or maintain the quality & condition of my leather interior?

Thanks!

A friend of mine had a Plymouth Superbird and swore it was the fastest thing on the road ... until he got drunk and wrecked it. I always thought the Chrysler products were the fastest on the road at that time, but I knew a guy with a Javelin who never lost a race.

There may not be a "right" answer. I would love to hear your stories. I had a 69 Plymouth ... with a 318. Barely enough to pull that behemoth around. Looked like a muscle car but wasn't.

I've done some research on doing a baffle mod to the stock pipes of cycles in general, and came across two methods. One, drilling holes in the first wall. The second, using a hole saw to cut through all three walls and removing the baffles entirely. These sites claim no rejetting is necessary, but I'm skeptical. Any opinion or insight?

I'll give $2000 to the first person who does this for me. Go to Manhattan Motorcars, it's a car dealership in New York City, and buy me the 2006 Saleen S7 Twin Turbo that they have there. That's my favorite car. It's real cheap, only $555,000. Get it and drive it to my house for me. Thank you.

Driving up 101 today towards the beach steam suddenly started pouring out from under my hood. I pulled over and popped the hood. I had a burst heater hose and lost a lot of anti-freeze. I taped up the hose as best as possible to drive the eight miles to the next service station, but I didn’t have water to re-fill the radiator.

In the back of the Jeep we has a gallon of iced tea and a large bottle of Pepsi and a six-pack of beer. I went with the tea.

My question is: Did I cause any serious damage driving the eight miles to the closest service station using tea as a coolant? It was sugar sweetened tea. Did this make it worse?

I did drain the radiator at the service station and filled it with water (wouldn’t you know they didn’t have any anti-freeze there). And we got back home without any real problems.

But still?

I have a leak in my car's engine, it smells like gas, but it was a fine white mist that was spraying from some tube next to the engine. The antifreeze is low, was that it, or is it really gas?

I mean really, why is it that some people think they own the road that millions of people drive on every day? What every happened to a little courtesy and compassion for your fellow man (or woman)? Every day I travel the highways (I live in Atlanta) there is always one, two, or TEN idiots driving like it is everyone elses duty to move aside for them. I am so sick of it, and unfortunately, it seems to only be getting worse. What are your thoughts?????
