I originally had an older Gixxer, 92 750 to be exact. However, I sold the bike 3-4 yrs ago. I'm ready to ride again and think going to a 600 might be a disappointment so I'm looking at a liter bike. Also, I'm assuming the newer 600's are probably faster and handle better than that old 92 I had. Am I o.k. stepping up to a liter or should I stick to a 600.? I have just noticed that I can get a little older 1000cc for the price of a newer 600, so why not.

I don't know how they got there but it seems the hot TX sun has baked these spots into the paint. Really come out under neon light.Should I try the clay treatment or does anyone know of a good deep down non abrasive paint cleaner? I'm beginning to think Meguiar's is not that good. Is detergent and water the best way to clean existing wax off before making any attempt to clean the paint? Do I need to use something with small abrasives? I think these dirty spots are due to wind out of the west, and it will be in water condensing on your hood in the morning. The air is dirty in and around Dallas. The sun gets extremely bright and it's really hot around here, which I think adds to the baking in of the spots. Any help out there? Meguiar's tech rep was a bust.

I might need to replace the cylinder heads on my car. I have ran it lean to long. So question is... its a 86 5.0 (flat top pistons) and I have spare cylinder heads from a 88 5.0 mustang. I would like to put these heads on. Will these heads be ok with these pistons. Will the valves hit the pistons?
