I just hit another car on my way home. My car drifted left after i fell asleep at the wheel and hit an oncoming car. Stupid, definitely. My fault, completely. Honest mistake, yes. The problem involves my financial situation. Im on my own and have no financial backing from anyone. Lack of work has led to my insufficient funding and ive just now started a new job and have only been working for a few weeks. Has anyone ever been in this situation? what can i do? get a loan? im in serious need of help

My boyfriend bought me a car for christmas 2005, but our relationship is rocky and I really won't out but I want my car to go with me but he says because it is in his name and that he pays the notes that I can't have it, but I remind you he bought the car for me and opted to pay the notes and insurance himself. I know their is a law for this .

Or is it more detremental if one is not close enough because the wind is hitting the car harder? I drive a small subaru. Maybe another thing to consider is how tall does the big rig have to be?

Please point me in the direction of some inexpensive ones.
I don't want the GPS you have to download from the computer. I would like the one that connects via satellite.

my parents are considering getting me a used Z3 as my first car!! woo hoo! lol. but anyways what i am scared about just maintaining it like getting the oil changed and stuff. is that really expensive? also, is there a site that actually has the crash test ratings for the Z3's? i've been looking for a little bit on the internet and every site says theyre not tested or something. and if you have just some general advice on Z3's? it would be really appreciated. thanks!

i currently own a 89 ford festiva lx. i reluctanly bought it 4 years ago(BEFORE GAS HIT THE ROOF) for 700 bucks and it had 182k on it! i figured to get 10 maybe 20 k out of it and junk it!! well now my little car had other plans. i drive it daily and it still get s 35mpg and now has 260k on it and doesnt use a drop of oil!! i do maintain my vehicles very meticuously , but this little car has far surpassed my expectations. i plan to drive her 300k. my toyota camry that i recently sold with 160k was developing more problems than my little energizer bunny car!! laugh if you will 40k suv owners? all of the money i am saving is being doubled in the stock market in gas futures!! whos laughing now????????????????????????

I am supposed to go take my BEHIND THE WHEEL test for my liscense at the DMV tomorrow. I live in California, and my test location is in Santa Ana. Well, I know it says you are supposed to bring proof of insurance to your test. I just realized that my car insurance card expired on June 14th. I am with my dad's insurance company (USAA) and he lives out of state. I called him, and he said that they sent him the new insurance card instead of me by accident, and that coincidentally they are supposed to be arriving at my house tomorrow. The problem is, the mail comes in the afternoon and my appointment is at 8:40am! Will they not let me take the test? That doesn't seem fair because the card expired less than a month ago and I am definitely covered...like if they looked it up in a computer it would verify that I'm insured. Do you think they will still let me take the test or not? Thanks.
