Does anyone know what I can run in my BMW M3 on the quarter mile. I have the SMG transmission, and the performance package. The girl is fast, but I wanna race an EVO and I know he can take me on a road track, but I think I can get him on the quarter. Any ideas?

The transmission was no good and it wouldn't run over 40/mph. So we got a used tranny put it in, but it's still not going over 50/mph. What could be the problem now? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I've noticed that when I do not let it warm up for at least 5-10 minutes, the transmission seems to have a hard time making into 3rd gear. Could the transmission problem be related to not warming the engine?

I had a new gear put in a year and a half ago, and some of the gears don't fit into eachother, and therefore my spedometer does not work. The only way it will work is if we do an expensive repair on the gear (about $500). Are there any digital spedometers (run on batteries) that you can buy and keep in the car without fixing the spedometer in the dash? I want something that will NOT be installed in the dash, to make myself clear. Thanks!

and a tire that has lost air in the right rear, what do you think happened?
What should I do, change the tire or try to pump it up? Where do I get a pump for pumping up tires? Can I just use one of those pumps you use for bikes?

My bike is a 1981 Honda XL500s. It is in a good shape. The de- compression lever is working properly, the timing of the valves is ok, and the carb is well adjusted. If it runs, it runs great. Still, the bike likes to kickback when attempting to start. It will cost my ankle someday. What is the best way to avoid this? (apart from taking the train) Can it be avoided at all, or does it just come with off roads like this?

Today gasoline is selling at a price that is over 100% higher that it was just 2 years ago. It is unlikely to ever go back down to the price it was then. The best solution to date is driving a hybrid automobile which can inrease fuel mileage as much as 50% for in-town driving.

I would really like to hire/rent an old shaped mini of any age in the UK, as a mini lover who is not allowed to buy one. I've seen lots of classic car hire companies but none seem to have an old mini in their fleet (By Old I mean anything up to a '99 model is ok). Most car hire companies focus on the new generation mini.

When standing still, like at a stop sign, the a/c is blowing very cool air. When you accelerate the air gets warmer, and at at 55 mph it is not even cool.
We thought there must be a leak so we had a leak test done but they said they could not find the leak. We had the system recharged but it did not help.
Any ideas ?
