First I must agree with several of the statements made already. Modern bikes are plenty fast out of the box. There are already too many pocket rockets that will pass everything but a graveyard. But if you insist, there are several things that can be done (if you have enough money). Remember that all things depend on year, make and model when trying to find go-faster parts. Aftermarket exhaust and re-jetting carbs. will get plenty of ponies next to your loins. Then you can move up to boring the cylinder, installing bigger pistons, better rings, hotter cam, etc. Hope you live to enjoy the fruits of your labor. Just one more thing; Speed ain't where it's at man! Riding should be relaxing and pleasurable experience. Good luck

Wow, you must be some kind of rider!
The stock bikes available have so much power, accelleration and handling capacity that only a professional would find the machine setting the limits.
For the rest of us schmoes, it's our own skill that sets the limits.
Bottom line, unless you are a professional rider slumming in the street racing arena, you have no need to modify your Ninja, or Hyabusa, or Katana, or Flame Blade, or whatever ... just learn to use it well.

friend of mine learned to make faster turns carving the canyons by intentionaly accelerating to break traction just a bit and slide the rear pointing the bike into a turn that normaly would require slowing quite a bit for............JUST NUTS the guy that told him about it learned it by accident bikes are fast enough just need to learn to be crazy.

Open throttle further, dont change gear until you hit redline, use more than first and second before you hit brakes. When your redlining in top you need mods.
