My husband, who was receiving Social Security benefits due to suffering from "end stage renal disease", died in 1999. He was unable to care for himself, generally speaking. I cared for him for approximately 13 years. Is it possible I can received back pay for the years I cared for him? If so, might I expect a lump sum or several payments over a period of time. I am now 61 years old, a will be drawing my own Social Security benefits in a few years.

When i open my roth IRA account in March 2003, i was under the impression that i can take my contribution (not earning) out tax and penalty free if i am buying a house.

Last year in June 2006, i made a early withdraw to help pay the closing cost of a house. Now tax time come, and i found out about the 5 year rule. I did not qualify for the 5 year rules and now i need to pay tax again on the money i withdraw.

Is there any ways i can fix this mistake?

My son turns 19 this month. He graduated high school last June and began working soon after. He has lived with me the entire time and in the past I have claimed him as a dependent, but he will be filing his own return for the time that he worked last year. Can I claim him or does he claim himself?

To open an account with the wholesaler I had to provide a Business Tax ID, and proof of resale liscense. I would like to sell most of the products I buy at cost to friends- I will not be profiting from this. Do I have to report this stuff as inventory? And do I still have to charge sales tax on them? I wonder because they have my Corp. Tax ID, so do they report my purchases to any revenue services?

My business is located in Illinois, and the total gross sales from this endeavor will be equal to or less than one percent of the business's gross income.

Thanks in advance for your help...
