Check the IRS website today. They just updated it late last night and those of us who had been getting a Feb 20 refund date, are now getting direct deposits on Feb 16th. Hope you get yours then too!

It could mean exactly what it is, processing delays or it could mean that there was a problem with your return. Either way, since the IRS only deposits on Fridays.....if you refund isn't there by this Friday, then you have a problem and need to call them!

There were problems with processing your return due to computer issues.
You can expect your refund anywhere from Friday to Monday, but you should have it no later than Monday the 20th

I filed on Jan twenty first 2011 & the IRS received it on the twenty fourth E-document. I went through Liberty Tax provider. My date replaced into set to 02/04/2011 to get carry of it, then on that Wednesday it replaced to 02/22/2011 with the aid of a processing postpone. I called IRS and were given 4 different solutions. First one replaced into that i had to allow 3 weeks for processing. 2d answer replaced into IRS replaced into sponsored up. third answer replaced into because my submitting status replaced into different this 365 days it might want to take an more desirable week for processing, that no longer something replaced into incorrect with my go back call decrease back next week. 4th answer which I only were given today replaced into there replaced into an "INDICATOR" that my go back replaced into being "regarded at" and if there have been no issues it "regarded" my get carry of date replaced into 02/22. That no letters have went out AS OF yet. IRS is a damn funny tale. My buddy filed swifter Tax an identical day as me and were given her funds on 02/02 direct deposit.

from my experience- either there was some missing- inaccurate info or more than likely you are going to be audited- and wind up owing taxes instead of recieving some cash back- like happily awaiting for your return- Just keep positive affirmations close at hand- because if this is the scenario- its usually TOO stressful to deal with and cope with properly and you are going to feel angered!-to say the least! HEY GOOD LUCK 2 u!Hope all works out well!
