by Jan 31st you have not received your W2, call the employer and ask them if they have been sent. If by Feb 15th you have not received it, call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-829-1040 and file a W2 complaint. They wil take a report and send you a form that you can use as a subsitute, you will need your last paycheck stub when you call, along with the name, address and phone# of the employer and what dates you worked for them

You mean W2's, right? The W4 is what you file with the employer telling them how much to withhold.

First step is to call the employer and tell them you haven't received them yet. If they don't come through with them, call the IRS on or after 2/15 and file a missing W2 complaint. If the employer was just being lazy, a call from the IRS will motivate them pretty quickly. If that doesn't work, the IRS will assist you in generating alternative documentation.

If you mean W-2s, call the IRS. An employer keeps your W-4 on file and doesn't sent it to you or to the IRS.
