I didn't pay my 2004 taxes, i didn't file for extensions, and i owed money that year. So what should i expect as far as fees and intrest rates? Also i had to personally pay about $30k in medical bills for my own personal injury that year, which came out of my settlement w/ another drivers insurance; so is that tax decuctible?

I'm making less this year than last year. If my total taxes for 2006 is $40,000, should I pay less or should I pay the same for 2007? For example, should I pay 4 payments of $10,000? .... even though I know I'm making less this year?

I've always paid annually, but I have to pay quarterly this year. I hate taxes!!! argh!!!!!!!!!!!

Since most law makers are lawyers who derive a whole lot of business from current tax policy and litigation. It is not in their best interest to pass such legislation.

My taxes are all done... except for one thing:
I live in Weirton, WV and work in Wintersville, OH. I went to the Weirton city building today to get my local tax form and was informed that they don't have to file city tax, only WV state. However according to my W2 there has been a hundred and some dollars taken out for local taxes this year. It has the municipality listed as OH WINTR- do I need to file local/city taxes in wintersville even though I am only employed there and live in a different state/town completely?
Any knowledgeable help would be greatly appreciated... obviously I'm a bit short on time.

He owed that year, but never filed, did not owe in 2003, did not work in 2004 (nothing to report) and did not file in 2005. I just filed his 2006 return, owing $77, and sent it in w/payment. What should we do? We filed married, separately this year, and didn't marry until 2006. What should we do to take care of the back taxes, and could I be held responsible? Thanks for your response.
