They said even though they hadnt filed them they did have money taken out so basically they just didnt get an income tax return.What will happen when they do file?

If they had refunds coming for all those years, the IRS probably won't contact them, but they'll keep the refund unless and until the person files. Refunds for years before 2003 are already forfeited, and unless they file by tomorrow, 2003 is gone also. If they file 2003 and 2005, they'd get their refund as long as they file within 3 years of the original due date.

report them to irs. i just saw a commercial from the irs that said if u snitch on ur neighbors for not filing income tax..u are able to get about 30% on their returns!
