I lost over $20,000 with fraud and I have all the documentation to prove it I was wondering if (i.e. HR Block) or someone else would be useful.

I was unemployed most of the year, so broke I had to ask for a deferment on my student loans. But I did work for four months only last year as a babysitter, and I earned less thatn $10,000 for the whole year. Now I'm going back to school this year, need to file my tax return for financial aid purposes, but I don't have a W2 because I was paid in cash by the people I babysat for. Can I still file a return?

I filed my taxes by TurboTax as I have the past 5 years. My taxes were accepted and I got the email from the bank who handles the IRS direct deposits giving me my date of refund. The first date the refund did not arrive but that has been the case the last couple of years. The second refund date showed not refund as well. I contacted the Wheres my refund page of the IRS and called the number that said there has been a delay in processing your return. They say there is not indications other than they needed more time to process my return and if I don't recieve a letter or refund in four weeks to call back. It has been over two weeks since the second refund date and nothing. I just won't to know what is going on, Has anyone had a situation like this? I mean if they are auditing me fine but just say that already ya know.
But they accepted and had already schedualed my return so I have not clue and can't get answers from them.
Any help is appreciated

My wife and I own a home. However we would be filing our taxes separately. Who files the mortgage taxes and how do we determine that particular refund so it can be divided equally?

My husband and I both are attending college full time. We've never itemized our taxes before and are unsure if we have to itemize this year because we have Tuition/Book expenses. As far as I know we have not exceeded the Standard deduction amount based off our 1098-T's. But I also paid a significant amout of money this year in dental expenses.

So I have two specific questions:
1. Do Educational costs alone mean we should itemize?
2. If not, how do we decide if we should itemize?

I only worked one month in 05 and completely forgot about filing my taxes. Tha employer I used to work for uses www.w2express.com to allow their employees to obtain a copy of their W2's. When I tried to get a copy of my 05's they tried to charge me $8. Is this normal? Isn't it my right to have access to this information for free?

Plus VAT, and Council Taxex, 1 million pounds average per street in parking fines, 3 million extra people paying taxes, living in rooms cause the goverment had built 20 000 council flats in 10 years.

3 million tourists a month in London, paying of course also all sort of taxes plus the congestion charge that had produced 500 million pounds in 2 years, was intended to improve Transpor for London, Transport for London had not improved, but had consolidated as the most expensive system on earth with two raising fares in 2 years.

14 000 nurses short, NHS closing dependencies, but in the article here below you can see how the PRINCE HAS 11 000 POUNDS TO SPENT IN BOOZE IN ONE NIGHT.

THIS IS WHY THEY JUST WANTED TO PUT THE TAXES BUT NOT TO SPEAK ABOUT LEVELS OF CO2, GOALS OR COMPROMISE, THIS IS WHY THEY DIDN'T SAY WHERE THE MONEY WOULD BE SPENT, NOW YOU KNOW...

If the IRS is already garnishing wages from my husband's check every week for back taxes owed, is it legal/typical for them to take money out of our bank account as well?
They've done so without any warning today. We've received no statement of this, and furthermore, they withdrew large sums of money from my account twice in one day, even though the money was clearly not available, causing a negative balance!
My husband has called the IRS and is on hold for over 40 minutes at a time while no one is willing to give him a straight answer as to what else we can do.
If this has happened to anyone, how often do they take the money (daily? weekly?) if so, is it typical for them to do so numerous times a day?

We've made a payment agreement a number of years ago on THEIR terms and have followed faithfully, missing only one month due to our cross-country move, but even doubled-up payments the following month. I am just so frustrated.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thx!

My wife was a full time student and under 24 in 2006.
We got married in June of 2006. Even though we are married, because she was a full time student she meets the criteria for her parents to claim her as a dependent for 2006.
(http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p501.pdf. page 9 )

I understand that means we can't file jointly, so for myself should I still file single for this year, or married filing separately?? She has had no taxable income this year.
