No - there is not a deduction for that unfortunately - if there was - more would probably send packages to our soldiers.

No, but you can make deductible donations to The Red Cross, USO, Air Force Aid Society, Army Community Relief, Navy Relief, etc. along with a broad range of other charitable organizations that support the troops.

No, there isn't. There are, however, several organizations that will ship packages to soldiers in Iraq for free.
