There are many tax deductions available (Around 350) and you claim all that you are eligible for. You can claim deductions for child care ( if you spend on that), education, etc. You may be able to find more about some of the commonly claimed deductions at http://www.bestonlinetaxpreparation.com/Tax-Deduction.html

Unless you own a home, there's probably not much for you to deduct. Just file a joint return with your husband and claim your child (but not the bun in the oven yet). Depending upon your income level, you may be eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit. That could be a significant benefit for you.

You can donate to charity organizations for a tax deduction. http://www.onlinecardonation.com/vehicle-taxdeduction.html. This non-profit charity accepts collectibles, all different vehicles, real estate, even aircraft. It's free of charge, convenient; they pick up your donation. Besides the good deed of donating to charity, you get the perks of the tax savings. :)
