I allowed a loser to move in with me because they needed a place to stay. It was not for free, he agreed to help me with bills and rent. However, he quit his job, and is now expecting me to take care of everything under the sun. I WANT HIM OUT OF MY HOUSE IMMEDIATELY.

Aside from changing my locks which I plan to do tomorrow morning, how can I legally get him out of my house without any negative ramifications (for me). He threatens me by telling me that Georgia law states I can not just put him out. And now, the days are rolling by and he thinks he has it made because the law is on his side.

I live in Atlanta Ga. In an apartment which has MY name on the lease. I just want him to get his things and go. Should I get the police involved? I want it to be as drama free as possible but because he is has no where else to go, he will try to find a reason to make me his permanent couch sponsor. Can some one please help me with some LEGAL advice? Thank you so much.

The mortgage application has my name only. How good is it to add my wife's name too on title? If I add her name in title, and in case of any default in future, will she be responsible for a part. Will it affect her credit history and bank balances anyway?? What are the Pros and Cons of having her name in Title.

I need some help here, I'm about to set up a meeting on a couple of manufactured houses/mobile homes that I'm interested in. This is really a new thing for me and I don't know too much about the manufactured housing industry and how it works...(although I'm learning daily)
what are the most essential and even non essential things I should ask about the homes i'm looking to purchase and the financing?
and if anybody has anything else to throw in that'd be great
thanks in advance for the help

would the seller be considered "desperate"? for selling. a member of my church sold her note for 90% because she needed the money after her silly husband bet the last $13,000 that was left in their savings. she no longer lives with him. but there was relief after selling her note. she needed cash now.

I am currently buying a home. My boyfriend's name was on 1 document of my packet of documents to sign. (It was only his name and income). I'm guessing they used his income + mine to qualify me for the home. They also asked if he will be living there. (Yes.)
My question is, his name will not be on the title or mortgage payments. (So I'm told). Will he have any ownership in this property?????

My agent said he doesn't have to show up to closing. I'll be the only one signing. Is it possible they'll want to add him before I can close -even though the mortgage broker said I qualified on my own??

Thanks!

I have recently graduated from college and plan to move to another state. It is difficult to job search from out of state, but without a job, it is almost impossible to get approved for an apartment. A co-signer is not an option. I have savings to pay the rent for several months, a year if necessary, and in my field, it typically takes less than one month to find a job. How do I get someone to rent to me without a job?

I have been told the deeds go to alliance and leicester as they gave me my mortgage. Am i meant to receive something to state the house is officially mine? It is my first step on the ladder so i dont have a clue about these things!

My husband owns a business and has been at his location for 10 years. The latest rent he was paying was $650 per month. The building was sold to a new owner who just sent him a notice that the rent would now be $1750 per month starting next month. Doesn't this qualify for an excessive rent increase? Furthermore the place needs major work including extermination, plumbing and fixing of flooring. We don't want to move but we don't want to pay $1750 per month for the conditions the space is in! What resources should we pursue?

How is private mortgage insurance determined? Is it a flat fee, a percent of the sales price, a percent of the mortgage? I know PMI will be applied if a down payment of less than 20% is made, but how is the cost of it determined?

I am doing 100% financing and my PMI is costing almost $200 a month

I found a home in an area where everyone is tearing down homes and building huge new ones.So I think the value is in the property more than the house. The listing price is $229,900.00. With the market as bad as it is would it be insulting to offer $190,000.00 or lower? The house needs new floors and kitchen from what I could see through the window, I'm going to look with my realtor in a few days. Similar properties in the area go anywhere from $179,900.00-$250,000.00 most with homes in the same condition as this one. I want to remodel the home and live there.

Our banker told my husband and me that we can use our line of credit on our current home to purchase the home we want to move to. He said we can close on the new home before we sell the old home. I don't understand how we can do that, as the line of credit is not big enough to cover the entire purchase price of the new home.

My home in Nevada is set to go to public auction in two weeks. I have been trying to sell for several months. The bank has agreed to a short sale however they declined each offer that I recieved. Now I am notified of the public auction and I am confused by this process. Does this mean that after the public sale the house has been forclosed and I am no longer responsible for this home? I have not lived in the home for months so eviction is not necessary. What if it does not sell? What is the next step?
Thank you.

I am currently renting an apartment in Ft. Worth, TX under a TAA lease. I have about 6 months left on the lease and am wanting to get out of it to move in with a friend of mine, closer to where I work. Is there anyway to get out of this type of lease? Or am I SOL?
