I have lived at my place for over a year, i have always paid my rent and never been a problem to my landlord. Today Jan 12 She came to collect my rent and after she got my money she gave me a handwritten letter that said I had 5 days to vacate the premises. Can anyone tell me if she can do that, i just gave her my rent for the month of Jan and she is saying that i have to be gone within 5 days. Can anyone help me on what i need to do, she didnt give me my deposit back or anything, she just said you have 5 days. I know most states give you like 30 days to move. The reason that she evicted me is the police got called to my house. This is the first time this is ever happed, please someone help me.

The bank of England keep increasing interest charges to borrowers, wages are not going up in line with this, fuel charges are increasing, council tax will no doubt increase in April so if everyone who has a mortgage stopped paying, what could the lenders do? They wont be able to repossess all the houses of people who have not paid their mortgages etc!

I have a great timeshare unit in Hilton Head, South Carolina. I cannot afford to make the maintenance fees every year in addition to my home mortgage, car payments, feeding/clothing/etc 2 kids, etc.
I want to donate this unit so that I will be free of the maintenance fee and will get the tax-deduction for this donation. Does anyone know what charities accept tax-deductable timeshare donations? I really need to know!
Help! Does anyone know of a charitg that will accept it right away and assume ownership of it? I contacted one charity and they told me that they would try to sell it but the unit would be mine (maintenance fees too!) until they could sell it, "usually within 6 months."
I want to donate it now, get the tax deduction ASAP, no more maintenance fees!!!

Please let me know if you have ANY information about this, ASAP! Thanks!!!

I want to purchase a home for the first time in middle Tennessee. I've never dealt with real estate agents before, and I'm wondering how much I can get him to come down on a home listed for $125,000. Do you have any idea? Thanks!

how far away from a major highway should a house be bought? 1 mile? 1km? 500 feet? I'm asking both for health purposes and resale value. it seems like there's no guideline anywhere online...but maybe i'm just not looking in the right places.

Hi,
I am in the process of refinancing my home, I live in a townhome community. The finance company showed said my homevalue is valued at 185,000. but they need to send a appraial company out to get there say. I looked at the last 6-12 months what the units sold for anywhere from 181,000-190,000. Now my question is that there is 3 units that are up for sale and the asking price is at 167000-172000. what would the apprasial company look at.

there are several family members that would help with co-signing so to speak, but how does that work? Would they essentially buy the house in their name and add us to title, how could we get it in our name also and eventually only? The credit probs are old and have been cleared up- but the number is still bad. Have gotten a credit card recently, and bought a new car- steps in the right direction, but takes time. Have money- want to stop renting. Ideas or suggestions???

I don't want to buy until next year, and I'm afraid that once I involve an agent, the process will move much too fast.
