for 7 months I can put all my income and pay off all of them by October because my husband makes enough to pay everything else. If I move, we will probably both be making just enough to pay the bills and not pay off any credit cards. However, I really want to move and have been wanting to move for awhile now.(only 4 hrs away). What should I do?

my question is that I'm buying my father's house due to his personal financial situation and he will continue living there paying less than my monthly mortgage payments. can I pay him a property mangement fee and have it legally tax deductible? EXAMPLE - my monthly payment will be $865. He will be paying $700 per month (loss of $165 per month). I want to pay him a property management fee of $105 per month (losses totaling $265 per month). can this $265 be written off along with all other deductions allowed by the IRS?

This question is for people who have had experience with different roommates. Is it rude or unusual for a new roommate to stay in their room all the time, even if the person is polite and nice when they pass you in the house or in other places? Or are some roommates like this all the time, even after sharing a your place a few months?

My husband, daughters, and I live in student (family) housing at Cal Baptist in Riverside CA. I just found out that at the end of the semester they are going to evict all the married couples because they want to have 4 or 5 students in these apartments so they can make more moeny off of them. Are they allowed to do this? Can you be evicted solely based on the fact that you are married? We don't have a lease though.

We have recently applied for a mortgage of £100,000 which monlthly payments are £693 fixed rate for 3 years. This is based on a 100% mortgage and the fact that we both have bad credit, it does not include building and content insurnace of life cover etc? Is this a good deal anyway?
We think that it is as we have been searching for a mortgage for a few months and due to the adverse credit haven't been getting a brilliant quote the max we could get before was £85,000 for £625 a month.

My landlord wants to move into my apartment. He called me up and basically just told me I need to move out in 30 days. I asked if he had the official papers for me and he said, "Oh, lets just keep this friendly between us -- I don't want to get the city involved." Problem: In this CA city, an OMI (owner move-in) eviction requires 60 days notice + the payment of relocation assistance (I've already checked local laws.) I suspect (duh!) that's the REAL reason he wants to "not get the city involved." By the way, I've never missed a rent payment. Friends have told me this is a common "bluffing" tactic by a landlord to see if you are stupid enough to go for it. Whatever: when he next contacts me and asks why I haven't moved per his "30-day verbal eviction order" what should be my response? Do I have to tell him what he has to do to get me out (i.e. give him legal advice?) or should I just shrug and walk away? I don't feel like going anywhere until he fulfills his legal obligation

I bought a house 8 years ago with a girl. We have a cohabitation agreement which states I will pay 2/3 of the mortgage and she will pay 1/3, but our bills are split 50/50. If we split up I am entitled to buy her out, but if neither can buy the other out we can sell up with 2/3 coming to me and 1/3 to her. The original value of the house was £72,500, it is now worth £175,000. I want to try to buy her out so I figure the following:

Increase in equity = @£100,000 of which she is entitled to £33,000
Current mortgage value = @57,000

That means I need to try to get a new mortgage for @£90,000 is this correct?

If it is assumed I have good credit history, no outstanding loans apart from the existing mortgage, what kind of salary ( before tax ) do I need to be earning to be able to get £90,000?

If it makes any difference, I part own another house, which is in England, but for different reasons I can't sell this house to help buy out for this house I live in

Thanks

We have found our dream home and it is being sold by the owner because her husband just died. We have been looking for a home with a realtor for about a year without any luck, and with much frustration. We have agreed on a purchase price with the owner and have agreed to purchase the home as-is because they just recently had a bunch of work and remodeling professionally done.
So my question is... How do we go about buying this home without a realtor? Who do I contact first? I have a lender who I have a preapproval through. This is our first time buying and the seller isn't sure what to do either. Any info would be great.

I want to purchase a home, but, I am curious if it is feasible in purchasing a home that the windows are boarded up and the house is surrounded by a tall fence. There is no for sale sign in the yard. I have passed by this house for one year and there is no sign of it being fixed up. Is this something I should investigate further or am I just wasting my time.? Knowledgeable answers please.
