How can I find the owners information on a empty property I am interested in.
I want to be able to go on the Internet and locate the owners information so that I may buy a property. Do you have any Ideas and what is the web site.

Your county courthouse has an office called the Recorder of Deeds, or something to that effect. Every property deed is there, just have them look it up. They have a map with the descriptions on it...

Go to the town office and ask for the tax card. It has the owners info. Be aware that not all counties and towns are on line.

Check out your county's web site, search for key words (parcel map) or (tax map) depending on their policy's this info may be private or you may have to pay for it. If not go to your local boro hall or municipal center and request a tax or parcel map of the area you desire.

It would help to know the state you are talking about. Each state is different. Having said that, try your tax assessor's office.
