I bought my home a year ago when I moved to a new town for a job. Now things arent turning out the way I'd hoped so I want to sell my house to my friend. I looked around on the internet and found some site that has home selling packages by state. Is this the way to go? Does that have everything I need to sell the home included? I would appreciate any help! I just wanna get outta this town, and not have any attachments. Thanks!

I thinking about getting into foreclosures. Putting buyers & foreclosed sellers together. I don’t have a real estate license.
Does anyone know a good program to look at to get more information?

Thanks

Why is paying half of your monthly mortgage payment in the middle of the month and the half at the end of the month cuts the amount of total interest & years to the mortgage? I did not think the mortgage calculator is the same as a CC calculator. Can some please clarify.

The house we are thinking about buying is a house the owner sold to a relocation company...My broker gave me this 20 page addendum, which I've given my lawyer(who hasn't gotten back to me yet, which is why I'm asking here). Both brokers are using high pressure sales tatics to get me to sign these papers. What is usually in these paperwork from relo companies? My broker (who is supposed to be a buyer's agent, LOL) says that these addendum contracts are NOT revisable. Yet, I've read on other real estate forums that they are. Is there anything I should know about dealing with a relo property, because all the realtors involved are just interested in selling here, and it looks like the only person who can protect me is me and my attorney. Thanks

I posted an 'apartment for rent' ad in Craigslist.org and I've been receiving some responses to it...some if not most of them seem a little suspicious or too good to be true...

Three of them are from people who claim to be away in another country and say they're moving to the U.S. They ask for certain info like name, address and phone number claiming that they need it to send to their agent to let them know they've found a place and send a payment in check. One of them reads like this...
---
"My Company is making the payment and there going to send you a check of 7,000 usd ..u get it cashed and deduct your money and send me the balance for my other expensive here for me to come .if u accept this please get back to me the Name and address with your phone number that would eb issue for the check."
---
Why would he be so willing to pay $7000 up front for an apartment he hasn't even seen except in pictures? I'm new to internet advertising so I'd like to know if this might be a scam

We have a two bed one bath home. we also converted our garage into a bedroom .We purchase our home about 7yrs ago.for 75,000.00 . We can try to sell it for 180,000.00..I know i'ts crazy,,but that's how much homes went up in our area.. I love my house, but we have a big family now. We really need a second bathroom. and more space..The problem is that even if we sell our house we can't really get a desent home no less than 350,000.00 the payment would be to much for us right now,but in a couple of years we could probably aford it ,but not now..so we were thinking maybe to rent a bigger house and rent ours too. and in about two years we could buy our bigger home. What do you guys think???we have 3 kids and the problem is the potty training and when we are takinf showers and ect...

I'm 25 and graduated college about 2 years ago and make about 48k a year as a dental hygienist in Orlando. I am looking into buying my first home but am having a hard time figuring out how much I can afford. I keep using these calculator things I find like on google, but they keep telling me I can only afford about 90k. How can that be right? Like seriously? Could it really be that until I make like over 100k I can hardly afford a house? I find it very hard to believe.

My husband and I have been having trouble with these two guys, Mike and Joe. Mike was hired to do vinyl work on houses we were building but hired Joe to do it for him. He did not pay Joe and tried to blame it on my husband. My husband showed Joe proof that Mike had been paid for the job; however, Joe threatened to put liens on the houses until he got paid. He even tried to coerce my husband into paying him because my husband was the one with all the money (Joe's exact words). He and my husband nearly get into a physical fight, when Joe backs down, not realizing how upset my husband was going to get. My husband then calls Mike and tells him to write a check for Joe and that Joe would wait until the end of the week to cash it. Joe apologizes to my husband and leaves. The very next day, Joe calls my husband and tells him he's going through w/the liens. He never tries to cash the check. I don't know what else to do other than hire a lawyer. Any advice to a wife at her wit's end?
