When I first started to rent, she didnt want to rent, but wanted to sell and get the house out of the way and have the money. Now, that she sees I am a good renter, she isnt sure if she wants to sell, I want to try for a loan in August. How do I ask her to sell and get a good price on the home. It is a bit run down and I have some good ideas for improvement but dont want to put money into it if I cant buy it. She doesnt want to put any money into it either.

My sister lives about 45 minutes away from me. She is new to real estate, and wants us to list our house with her. She's giving us a discount on her commission. She's very insulted that we aren't listing with her. There are 3 problems: One, she does not know our area very well, and isn't even in the same MLS system that our area primarily uses. Two, we weren't planning on using a realtor in the first place. We wanted to sell it by owner. Three, it will cost us about $3500 more to list with her than if we were doing it ourselves. Should we list with her anyway so there is not any family friction?

In Arizona, the prices of homes have slightly dropped due to many homes on the market for sale. Homes in Arizona appreciated about 50% in the last two years but now it's overflooded with homes for sale. What do you think will happen? I still see it going strong 2-5 years from now.

I have a second home in Arizona. On the tittle it states my name and my mom's name on the tittle. We would like to add my dad to the tittle too.. I live in California so does this mean I have to go to Arizona to add my dad's name to the property? How do I go about doing this?

No shared rooms or apartments wanted. Prefer 1 bedroom, 1-1/2 bath (1 bath is ok) quiet area, and utility costs all included in the monthly rate.

The specific circumstances are: a wife sold her house to her husband for a small amount of money, but they both signed the sales paperwork as single people and she signed her maiden name. Is this fraud and who would this be reported to if so?

My husband and I are affiliated with the military. We allowed someone to live with us so that he could collect BAH. Which is like a housing allowance. Upon his arrival he was verbally given a few small rules to obide by and the consequences for not following the rules of the house would be loss of security deposit and termination. Well, I kicked him out tonight and I need to get information about the Hawaii State law on verbal agreements. My friend says that here they are just as legal as written agreements.
Am I allowed to keep his security deposit?

I'm from CA but am looking to buy some property out there in Texas. I know some locals that already have. Is it a good time to buy? Is that area susceptible to hurricanes? Any info would be appreciated.

My fiance and I are buying a house and our wonderful lender left her name off of the loan and decided to tell us the day before. And it's too late to change anything because the seller has to close now. We can add her name to the title of the house easy enough, but is there anyway to include her on the home loan without refinancing? We would like it to have a positive effect on her credit as well as mine. And I suppose, in case something happens, I don't want to be the only one on the hook for the loan.
