I owe about 2000 right now on a single credit card, I still havent payed it off completely for about a year now. a few times(maybe around 4 or so) i have not paid the due date, but the wait for not paying was never longer than like another month. I am still paying it right now, not really missing dates lately, but i am pretty much paying the minimum, and then also using the card more. So the interest rate is starting to kill me. but with that info is my credit score really gonna be too bad. Im kinda thinking of applying for a car loan through that bank card. (Bank of america)

I have three accounts on my credit report that I didn't open. Two are delinquent. One is current. We have no knowledge at all of these accounts at all. We reported to Experian and placed a fraud alert on our account. They emailed back that these would stay on our credit report, that they were verified. That is not possible they do not belong to us. What do we do now??? Thanks in advance for any information.

I live in Michigan and I am having a rough time financially and I have 4 different medical bills from a surgery. (which I can not believe what they charged between me and my old insurance company) Every month when I get a bill I pay $20.00 on it even though the bill says "pay in full" or "minimum amount due" and they have the total amount of the bill. I heard that as long as I keep paying them every month then they can not but it on my credit report, is that true??? Anything on this would help, please give me any feedback you have...Thank you

The credit card is still not verified on paypal, but I would like to tie the card on my ebay because I want to contact the seller.

But why is that it says "Ebay will not charge you - for verification purposes" then all of a sudden, it says something about authorization and was asking me about "for US $1.00 or it's equivalent to validate the card is in good standing"

I only want to talk to the seller :( aaaargh this whole thiung is making me mad, my OWN debit card is still not activated so I can't use it, and I really have to be safe on this one, because my mom will kill me if she finds out I am using my extension card on the internet (and she barely knows anything about internet)

I've had no credit cards before or anything, and I haven't paid any bills or anything like that before. I am 18. I did get a account with a jewelry store and I am starting payments soon, but if I went in tomorrow what are the odds of getting it?

Ok I'm a few months away from turning 18 and I would like to build up credit by becoming an authorized user on my mom's credit cards. She has REALLY bad credit because of her ex- husband but she always pays her credit card bills on time. So, if I become a user on her card that she pays everytime, will the rest of her bad credit transfer to me too? Or will I just get the benefits from her paying that card responsibly?

Ok, So.. In a way I have bit off more than I could chew.. I haven't been responsible and I have just spent..

So, I am sitting here with 15k in debt. I have never missed a payment.. and I often pay more than the minimum.. But, at this rate its going to take years to pay off.. So, I cut all my cards up and just started paying them down...

I was wondering if a loan (personal) was ok to get to pay off the cards, and my score go up.. trying to refi my house..

I have learned my lesson abou credit cards.. hence why they are cut up.. and I have paid off alot.. and closed them...

Just any advise would help..

Thanks!

About three months today i paid all my creditors and i was owndering how long does it take to show on my credit report that they're paid off so that i can actually get a job. i was recently turned down (a month ago) from a job due to my credit report. It seems that i can't get a job with my bad credit. I paid it all off so i was wondering how long does it take to show that i am okay with my creditors.

I've been paying the same amount by the due date each month for the past six months... and now I' figured out the principal that was paid each month, and it varies! =( I didn't think this was supposed to happen with an installment loan.

Here is what the bank applied to principal every month:

pmt1 $157.54
pmt2 $101.16
pmt3 $ 0.00
pmt4 $ 12.97
pmt5 $159.07

I thought the amount applied to principal would start off small and slowly increase, while the interest would slowly decrease. What the heck!?!? Am I in bizarro world? =)

Please help!

One particular CA told me they could not put it in writing...now I'm sure this wasn't true, but here's my problem. Even if I ask for a Validation letter, that is going to state the original amount I owed. However, I would like to settle for less than that in a one-time payment. How is a validation letter going to help me out as far as proving that what I pay the CA will "pay it in full"? Don't I at some point have to just take their word for it that it is going to be paid in full? I'm confused. Please no rude remarks about not using credit cards blah blah blah. I'm only faced with this dilemma due to my daughter's medical issues 3 years ago that ruined me financially. I'm trying to climb back out of the hole. I'm not running up the debt, I just got behind and I'm trying to make the smartest moves to pay my debt off. thankyou.

Ok, so we are a very small company, and a month ago, someone ordered services from us, which we kind of assumed it was fraud, because of the two things, it was from Vietnam and the credit card was from UK, and second, it was quite a large charge, totaling $1400.00. We did not charge the card at the time yet, because we suspected it was fraud, but weren’t sure yet.
So we call the bank, and they said they couldn’t give us any information on the card and that we can go ahead and charge it. We did, and yesterday we get a chargeback!?
Now all of this could be avoided if the bank actually picked up the phone and called the customer...I mean, the credit card was probably not used illegally just on our website…

Is there a way to get the chargeback back and even sue the bank for being so irresponsible with OUR money?

My mom used my identity when I was only fourteen to open up a phone. I don't know the details, except what I was told, but recently I checked my credit and it had this huge two thousand dollar debt dated to when I was fourteen. It also lists me as being my mom's age, not my age (19). I disputed the age it lists me as, the debt, and places where I haven't lived. I got the results of the "investigation based on public records" and I am indeed in debt, I am my mother's age, and I have lived at those places.

What do I do? I'm at a complete loss.

I do most of my banking online. Today when I logged on, I noticed that it says "matured" beside my car loan. (I only have 2 payments left, whoo hoo! The car will be completely paid for by January 10.) What does matured mean?
