Please, no criticism or advice to pay my debts. I just need to know if creditors can get to the funds in a money market account. Thanks for any help.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but the life insurance company opened the money market account for me. When my mother died, I was issued a checkbook to write checks on from this money market account.

Do my creditors have to first find out about the account, then request to get the funds? Or is the court judgement alone enough for them to get the money? Thanks again for any help.

Yes, your creditors can attach that account.
