I have been subpeona'd to for this exam. What can I expect? I don't have any assets at all other than my wages. Will they finally accept a payment plan? The judgement is for a deficiency balance on a car I let go back 10 years ago. The judgement is 9 years, 11 months old and our SOL is 10 years but can be renewed for another 10. Is it common for the court to renew a judgement like my situation?

I go to STORE A to buy a product. I use a credit card thus STORE A gets the money for the product from BANK B (credit card issuer).

Within a month BANK B wants the money so I go to BANK C (write a check/internet check) to pay BANK B.

I ----> A ----> B ----> I ----> C ----> B

Okay so I go to "A", "A" goes to "B" then I go to "C", "C" goes back to "B"

Now, wouldn't it be better if I just paid "A" some how and be done with it! Okay I am bored.

Will someone invent a better system (other than cash) where you don't have involve B and C ?

If I have a loan for a house about to be done with, close escrow. and i still want to get a new credit card, amex card.

How does it affect me, if i do it right after they might not pick up the loan on the credit report and give me the amex card on my good credit.

If i wait 2-3 months later after my loan, will i be able to quailfy for a new card?

How does a home loan affect how they rate if you qualify for a credit card?

I was curious.I have a friend that bought property about a year and one half ago.He transferred the property to his son with a warranty deed right after purchase . Now he found out that he might have been sued having to do with debts he incurred a few years ago that he never paid. Can one of his creditors lien property he has already deeded away over a year ago? He is really worried and wanted me to help him find out if they would be able to do this.If you are absolutely sure of your answer please and answer but if you don't please don't answer.I would appreciate your thoughts if you know the state law about these kinds of issues..Thanks in advance.

Hello! I have a friend who has some unpaid credit card bills since 2003 until now. My friend lost his job and became sick with depression at the time. My friends family decided he should move to the Philippines so he can be taken care of. He maintained good credit for 14 years. Now when he decides to return to the U.S. in California what should he do? What will happen to him and his credit? Can he rebuild his credit? What has happened to his debt with the credit cards Company? He is still under medication and treatment. Thank you.

I was recently divorced, my daughter is in college. I fell behind on some payments on my credit cards in an effort to support my daughters educational needs. I have two homes with approx. $70,000.00 worth of equity. I requested from a local bank where i already have a note to borrow approx. $30,000.00 to pay off all cards and other debts. The banking institution refused my request, stating that i have some delinquent payment issues, on cards, etc. He stated since i have a note with them the only thing he can do, is re-adjust my payments on that particular note i have with them. I am new at this type thing, could someone please give me some advice? I am just trying to bail myself out of the hold that i am in, to make a life better for my daughter. Both homes have a lien on them with the bank.

I am in desperate need to refinance my vehicle. I am currently paying payments on the vehicle but the loan has been in my boyfriend’s dad name. I am splitting apart from my boyfriend and would like to refinance and have myself added to have security and also get the car credit on my credit report. I thought Household was the easy financial company to refinance but apparently not. My boyfriend’s dad has OK credit …..Please send me some details on a good company to refinance my vehicle with.

Okay so here it is. I just graduated college with a huge amount of debt. The problem I have is not including the federal loans and and one private loan. I have two credit cards. One with $1700 and the other has like $5700. It was stupid at the time to use these credit cards to pay for books/tuition/rent/spring break but now its all added up and I can barely keep up with the minimum payments. the $5700 one has a minimum payment of $150 so as you can see its getting desperate. I don't want to open another card and try to transfer it b/c I've already done that once and I don't want it to hurt my score any more. What is everyone's suggestion?

I got a call from a legal assistant yesterday telling me I wrote a bad check for $18 over four years ago and that I now owed $143. They couldn't verify anything about the check and couldn't even give me my address to prove it was really me, all they had was a telephone number and a name (although they did ask me about one address and I said it was wrong but they told me that it didn't mean anything). I know I've never bounced a check before and my checking has never dropped below $500. So now they're "supposed" to get me a copy of the alleged check and I've got my bank looking into it, but on preliminary searches they found no corresponding check. Any advice on what to do about these jackasses?

...items that have already been written or charged off on your credit report? Everytime I pay off one of my "seriously past due" debts I see no change. I know morally I should pay it, but does it do anything for my credit?

I was admitted in a county hosp. for 2 wks in Feb 06 w/high fever & pulse. They kept going back & forth on different diagnosis. Most days I sat there w/ nothing going on.I was told that my stay would be on a sliding scale if I signed on to be used as a case study & have med students study me.I agreed since I did'nt have a job/ins. @ the time.I was released after multiple tests/scans.In Aug 07, I get a call from a lawyers office/collection agency saying I owe $10K for medical services provided. In the last 16+ months I have not recieved any bill/notice/letter informing me of any such debt neither from the hospital nor from the agency.I called the hospital's accounting dept & they said they do not work the accounts that have been forwarded to agencies.Hence, they don't have any records of how much I actually owe.I have let the agency know that I didn't recieve any bill/notice from them. They lied & said I send all notices back as return to sender. Why would I ever do that? What are my options?

I was curious if you have always had good credit and borrowed large amounts of money but paid them off and this went on over the years and then you borrow rather large sums with the promise to pay it back like you always have and something really bad happened ,you were in a natural disaster and you can't pay them back and you have no income and you havent contacted them . Can you be charged with fraud or just sued or what ? Please just if you know for sure answer.I appreciate your help Thanks in advance

When I met my wife she had good credit and I did too.She put me on her credit cards and made me an authorized user. Instead of her using her cards she had me purchase everything and sign my name.I never gave my written permission for her to do this or provided my social security number on her accounts. She over a year or so borrowed money on those cards with using my issued credit card that was still on her account. We were married during that time and I was curious if she has massive amounts of money that she owes am I responsible even though I was only an authorized signer? Can I get in trouble for her running up large amounts of money on the credit cards using my credit card that I was authorized to use? This has me really worried. Also do the credit laws vary from state to state. At the time we didn't live in this state we now live in Colorado.

I live in Colorado and just bought a piece of property on time from the owner.I paid a nice down payment but they put my wife's name on it by accident and filed it with the county.I told them not to put her name on it but they did a quick claim deed on it where she donated her interest to me when we bought it.the very same day,but her name was recorded as buying it with me. She has creditors looking for her and she owes a lot of money .My question is with me paying on the property and it only being in my name with her transferring her interest in the property to me..can anyone lein it although the land owner still actually owns the land and uses that ownership as collateral? Any info that you can provide I would appreciate it.Please if you don't know and you are guessing please let someone answer it that knows..Thanks in advance.
