I've recently applied for low-income housing. I'm 21 and I hate living with my parents, they argue and fight way too much for me. The thing is, the representative told me that I have a very good chance based on my application, but they will check my credit.
What exactly are they looking for when they do a credit check?
Truth be told my credit is no where near perfect. I have $61 in collections and two credit cards that were once delinquent. They are up to very good standings since I got a much better job. Also, my loan payment is always a month ahead. And, I have about seven inquiries within 12 years since I was trying to get a car. You think I'm going to get rejected? She did say that they werent looking at the actual score, just to see if you had any bank repos or serious collection issues. I'm still so scared and damn anxiosu.
