I've recently applied for low-income housing. I'm 21 and I hate living with my parents, they argue and fight way too much for me. The thing is, the representative told me that I have a very good chance based on my application, but they will check my credit.
What exactly are they looking for when they do a credit check?
Truth be told my credit is no where near perfect. I have $61 in collections and two credit cards that were once delinquent. They are up to very good standings since I got a much better job. Also, my loan payment is always a month ahead. And, I have about seven inquiries within 12 years since I was trying to get a car. You think I'm going to get rejected? She did say that they werent looking at the actual score, just to see if you had any bank repos or serious collection issues. I'm still so scared and damn anxiosu.

Your personal info such as your name, place of address, employment, etc. Any installment loans you have had, any revolving accounts, and any collection accounts which have been reported in the last 7 years. It will show how much you originally owed, and how much you still owe and the name of the company you owe it to. It will also tell you the names of the companies which have inquired information during the past two years.

If you have not already done so in the lsat 12 months, you can go to the link below and request a free credit report. That way you know what is exactly on your report and ensure that everything listed is accurate.
