I had a previous question of APRs on credit cards where the answer-er said, "the APR assumes you pay the full balance in one 'billing cycle'". Now I ask, then does that mean that if the APR ASSUMES you should/will pay in one 'billing cycle' that they can rightfully charge more (i.e. alter the original APR, and/or add an additional fee) even if I pay on time? Please help!

thinking i would save on interest charges i paid 3500 off my credit card. it was money set aside incase i had a rainy day. feeling secure that i could still use my card if needed which had a 4500 credit limit. i run my own cleaning business and had recently only sorted my finaces. my father was rushed into hospital with perinitus and unforseen circumstances and tragic loss off my father caused me have time off work late banking caused charges to spiral out of control. to my dismay my morgage lender had filed a missed payment on my credit report within a matter of days and my credit card was taken off me if i hadnt paid off the card i would be ok but now im about to loose my home and business i cannot believe how much in interst charges it has cost me all because i tried to save a little were they allowed to do that when i hadnt defaulted them

I was on creditboards.com and im watching all of these people speak on PG, I just found out what that means, which is personal guarantee, so what does a personal guarantee mean when these people are referring to getting a line of credit for your business without a personal guarantee?

I tried switching banks and could not open a new account. It said to contact Telecheck---the bank officer said it would probably be OK when I cleared it up.
I probably wrote a bad check in my wayward youth and forgot. I wrote them a letter to see whats on the account. The bank was Washingtion Mutual. Has this happened to anyone before?

I just got my check a little bit ago and can't talk to anyone at work about it untill in the morning...... Like the title said I received zero notice from anyone at my work or from a court or even anything in the mail. I only found out when I got my paycheck today......This is not how it's supposed to work is it? I've lived in the same place for over 2 years with the same phone number so i'm very easy to find if anyone needed to contact me!

Aside from the obvious of contacting my employer in the morning what else can I do? I am the only income and 25% of my check is a huge loss. I assume my employer can tell me the details of what it's for......?

I have been living abroad since graduating from University and have deffered payments of my loans each year as the money I earn here is not worth much in US dollars. Now I can not use defferments and the student loan payments will be a severe blow in my budget, I know that it is my obligation to pay regardless but would like information and advice on the repurcussions to aid my thought process before making a final descion.

Thanks,

Robert

It's first premier bank. They sent me the card, and it's outrageous with fees. There's only one 800 number, and there's NO way to talk to a person. On the website, there's no option to cancel it.
