I don't want you take this personally.

The "business" of which you speak is in fact, governmental and it is called,

"Housing Urban and Development (HUD)." They are designed to help the "low-income" people and do a pretty good job of it mind you. Please be prepared for long lines, but it is worth the wait.

They will send you to some personal financial counseling sessions to let you know the "to-do" you need to complete so you can get a home consistent with your financial situation.

If you have the motivation to do the work and homework, then your dream will become a reality. If you lack that burning hunger and drive, then you should accept apartment living as your lot in life.

And finally, if you refuse to read their informative brochures on how to purchase the home the right way, then you will be wasting your time, their resources, and my tax dollars.

You really don't need a business to help you with this. Educate yourself about your credit scores and the bad credit that is in your credit report that may be affecting your credit scores. Potentially save yourself the extra money for a down payment on a home (if you even need one).

Most companies that are in the business to assist people to buy a home with bad credit are only in the business to sell homes and not help you with your credit which is the core issue.

I would suggest to use a company that is only in the business that educates consumers about their credit and how to improve their credit report and credit scores.
