I filed bankruptcy a year ago, this was from a divorce and a lot of overwhelming debt. I now make excellent money as an RN and my bank gave me a loan for a car because they saw my income versus debt (which i had no debt but living expenses). Well now, I am wanting to have a cosmetic procedure done and I was wondering if anyone knew of any financing companies who would finance 100 percent of expenses.......I know I am probably expecting too much, but it is something that i have wanted all of my life and after all that ihave been through and all the hard work that i have done to overcome all of this....I wanted to treat myself. any adivce is appreciated.

My fiance and I are moving to the Washington DC area and are looking for an apartment. I claimed bankruptcy a year ago, and have a tax lein against me. My fiance has very good credit. Both of us need to be on the lease and they are doing a credit check for both of us. We make enough money for the apartment. Could my bad credit keep up from getting this apartment?

I did not think I could get credit card becuse I had filed bankruptcy years ago. Mother got card in her name for me to use but I cannot prove it because she has died. I didn't know it was illegal to do this, because one of the reasons I am on disabilty is because of mental problems that make me a bit slow. I was making payments on card, even after she died.card center called after finding I was using it, wanting me to pay higher payments in order to"take care of it". At least they were getting their payments. They might would not have gotten anything from her since she had died. I feel like they are holding "fraud charges" over my head so I will pay them higher payments. My mother told me I could keep using it after she died so I could pay some of the bills that she was helping pay before. I was living with my mother. Still living at house and bills are too much for my disability check. That is why I used card., as my mother wanted me to. We were both paying the utility bills.

My friend lives in Morocco and would like to get a Visa or MasterCard credit card to make online purchases. Unfortunately, no banks in this country, to our knowledge, issue credit cards. Is there an international bank or other solution? A low-limit card will suffice. Thank you

My debt is low, only about 3k, but it is spread out over 9 cards. Is it better to pay off the low balances first then work on the highes balance or the other way around?

Credit cards have all kinds of rewards these days. I already have a few cards that I've had open with good credit for several years. What is the effect on my credit of opening up a new credit card, getting some reward for my first purchase, and then closing the account?

A credit card seems to be somewhat thick. I was wondering how can you easily cut them with scissors? Won't a power-saw do a better job?

I still owe about what it is worth and I could save the hastle of trying to sell it by just giving it back to the bank.

This is my first credit card, and although I was paying off my balance in full each month, circumstances have led to me being able to only pay the minimum each month. My payments are always on time, however. Is just paying it on time what really matters, or does the amount of my payment count as well? I ask in relevance to my having a good credit history and score.
