A credit card seems to be somewhat thick. I was wondering how can you easily cut them with scissors? Won't a power-saw do a better job?

They don't make it easy, do they? It can be done, but it's generally painful. If you want to use the power tools, just make sure you keep your hands FAR AWAY form the pretty, spinning blade.
