Make sure that the web site states https//www. and so on. The https the (s) indicates a secure web site. Also if you are using Microsoft web browser a yellow pad lock will appear in the lower right hand corner of your screen.

only use your card on to buy stuff from websites that you are 100% sure are legitimate such a amazon.com.
