I am a sophomore in highschool and I want to be a broadcaster (mainly sports) and i am currently in a career shadow program, awaiting a letter for my shadowing time. i feel that there is not a lot my school can do, i signed up for a trip to our local univeristy (Binghamton University, upstate NY) for a career expo (career day type thing) and i feel i've done all i can. I called some local radio stations and Time Warner Cable b/c they broadcast local sports and Time Warner said they have programs for seniors only, and the other radio stations didnt even contact me back, is there anything else i can do
my grade right now is an 87 and i know that if i want to get into a good school after highschool that i must improve my grade significantly but my whole school career has been hovering around 91-92, which still isnt enough to get into my target school, Syracuse University.
I also do a baseball themed podcast during the summer w/ my good friend who has the same dream, his grades are...
