Federal minimum wage is still $5.15/hour and has been since 1997. They are discussing raising it, but as usual, there has to be all sorts of other bills attached to it that will delay it for a while.

States can set their own minimum wage, so it may be higher where you live. In CA, minimum wage went up to $7.50/hour as of January 1, 2007, and will go to $8.00 on Jan. 1, 2008.
