I heard that Wyoming is recruiting aggressively for skilled workers. They have been heavily recruiting in the mid-west to encourage people to move there.

Bejing is using something like 60% of the world's steel. I'm sure you could find a job there. Of course, there are probably 800,000 people competing for it so the wage is only a couple dollars a day.
Construction is due for a slump nationwide. Be prepared.

Queensland Australia, theres zillions of jobs in the mines and oil rigs up north. Look up careerone.com.au - theres big pay waiting for you and a company will probably sponsor you out here for a couple of years - just talk to them - good luck. We have such a great lifestyle here!

Are you single? If so look into working for a government contractor overseas (and it doesn't have to be the middle east). In one year or two you will make more money, see more things, etc. than you would have ever imagined.
