However, we have a client that gets a couple of million each year as a BONUS. He pays more than that amount in state taxes. How would it be?

124/hour? Nice if you get it. Assuming you work all year and get paid for vacation and holidays, etc.

How is it you'd get paid that much but can't figure out yearly salary?

That's 124 * 2048 hours -> 257920

your salary * 2080 (how many hours you work in a year - 40 hrs * 52 weeks) = yearly salary

A rule of thumb is 2,000 per year...so multiply $124/hour by 2,000 hours or $248,000.
