What decision would you make in this situation?
I get $643/month, my rent is 1/2 my income, I pay $60 in electricity & $100 in food. $20 for laundry, $30 for a prepaid phone cardwith 300 minutes, & about $15 for cab service, lugging those groceries. I'm mentally disabled & go to college-I have my BA-Spanish degree, but I have a weak GPA, so I'm taking extra courses to try to get into grad school. I don't like Spanish Lit, but that's all they offer. I want to translate & interpret. I'm desperate for work, but no one wants to hire me because they say I appear mentally slow b/c of my movements & mannerisms. They think I'm retarded & don't know any better. They also won't hire me because of my weight. I have other necessssities that I can't have because of lack of money. If you were in my situation, would you quit your current school & try to go to T&S school out of state, quit school PERIOD & try to find work, or stick to a Grad major of a field you're not interested in & stay poor? I don't know what's the best decision. What else?

***T&S means TRANSLATION & INTERPRETING school. Should I pursue a Certificate in California @ Cal State-Los Angeles, Expensive Grad program @ Monterey Institute-$40,000/yr. tuition in California where I can get a MASTER's in my DESIRED career field, OR stay here @ University of North Texas in Denton, kind of rural town with not much job opportunity & extremely limited transportation, majoring in something I don't have interest in, which is why my GPA is so low in the first place?

Greetings: I am doing a research project on product / business names and would enjoy hearing from the mass public on this subject.

If a business had a name such as “CAKE JUNKIE” “where you can get your fix and get powered by cake” or “Food Junkie” “where you can get your daily fix and get powered” and so on.

What is your true and honest opinion on the business name using the word “JUNKIE” & “FIX” in it?

I thank you for your help in my research project.

My husband can claim his daughter on even numbered years as outlined in the custody paperwork. During the custody dispute, he was not paying childsupport and once child support was set an additional $20 a month was tacked on in order to go towards the rearages (about $1500 in rearages) so instead of paying $519 a month, he pays $539. His income tax returns also go directly towards the rearages. It was last at around $1100 but with his income tax refund this year, it went down to around $700. In 08 if he claims his daughter and is scheduled for a refund, it again will go towards the rearages first. However, I'm curious if I can claim my stepdaughter instead of him that way we actually receive the money? If not that's fine too ... at least we'll have all the rearages paid off with the next refund. JUST CURIOUS!

The plumber today says that leak has been going on for years. There is lots of water damage to the sheet rock and insulation. The realtor was also the contractor in this home. He Knew! And to top it off there isn't any electical over that old patch work just a bad water pipe. I want to report him to TREC but the damage is hundreds of dollars if not more. Ok, so my 11 year old wants a bank account how old do you have to be? She has a savings account but she doesn't use it. She is mature enough to handle a "card".

Also how does she make money? Like $20 dollars a week? And don't tell me that I should give it to her!
