Why is it useful?

Seperate question if you can be bothered,

what other statements or report are required in a set of published accounts, aside from an income statement and balance sheet?

thanks very much

We basically have to pick a scenario and give financial advice. The scenario I picked was the following:
" A 35-year-old married couple with two young children want to sell their townhouse and buy a larger house in a time of low interest rates and low inflation. The would also like to trade their 8-year -old minican for a nw fashionable SUV"

How will low interest rates and low inflation affect the advice I give?

My mortgage company sent out 2 checks totaling $1700.00 for property taxes. (One to the a county I live in; one to another county where I don't even live).
I am tax exempt for this year.
My escrow account has a negative amount because of this double-disbursement.
I called and got basically yelled at, I asked for a supervisor (they said he could not be reached, I'd have to send something in writing to "speak" with him), My escrow account is negative $800+ dollars (and it's their fault!) and they want to treat me with such horrible service...
I'm afraid my monthly payment will be going up because I have a negative amount in escrow. The mortgage company shouldn't have sent ANY check at all!

They told me a week ago that it would be taken care of by last Friday, now they're telling me it'll be after the first of the year.
Can anyone give me some advice???

Aren't the financial institutions hurt when the people default on their loans? They now have a home and no money coming in. Why are these companies not working with these people and trying to keep them in their homes?

I sold my home and 3 months after closing Escrow Company claims they made a mistake and did not hold out enough money to pay off a HOA assessment. Is that legal? I am unable to determine if I still owe the assessment since the accounting is difficult to understand since there were several assessments being paid on a monthly basis. HOA's demand at closing did not did not include the assessment in question. Now months later, escrow is saying that I owe it???

If i buy shares in a company and then, at the end of the year, the company makes huge profits does some of that profit go to shareholders? or the only profit to make off of shares is if the price goes up and I sell the shares?

Hello,
I own small office property. I have a new tenant who for accounting purposes ask if it is ok for him to provide me 2 checks per month -- he will still pay on the 25th every month -- but 2 checks instead of one. Me being a skeptic -- it immediately raisied flags. But -- in speaking to his old landlord they vouched that the payments have never been late.

Is this common? Thoughts?
