Can I file exempt for the last two months of the year and not get in big trouble? I have made over $100,000 so far this year and paid over $28K in total taxes. Will I get myself into more trouble than it's worth by changing my W-4 to show exempt for these last two months? I want to not have too big of a pay cut for many reasons, mainly because of debt payment plans I recently set up counting on my payscale staying where it was at the time.

this company i want to work for says that they are still waiting for my backgroubd check to come in, its been 6 weeks. there is some problem at home office, people have been out sick etc... (it is true)the district manager has kept in touch with me. i just had a second interview and he said as soon as the background check comes back, that i do have the job. my question is isnt this to long of a wait?? this is the company im want to work for, but the longer they keep me waiting the more i doubt this. what do you think is going on here??

I got a preapproved by a lender who quoted us with a 6.6% interest rate. However, that seem high to me. If I want a lower interest rate, should I go to a different lender? But since I already got preapproved by the first one, do I need to send them my documents (W2, income, etc) again? Can finding another lender help me give a lower interest rate?

I took a drug test (urine) for a very good job. At the medical clinic where i took the test,i gave them a letter from my dr. about the medication i'm prescribed. Is it illegal for that clinic to tell the employer about my prescribed medication even if it shows up on the drug screen?
