i would like ask if i had appiled for credit but got it refused due to defaults on my credit file as i have them removed would i still able to get credit as i have searchs on my credit file and can i put notice of correction to reflect this

There is no such thing as illegal defaults on your credit report. If inaccurate items were removed from your report, the credit bureau is supposed to notify anyone that pulled your credit in the last 60 days. It is up to the individual creditor to decide to review or ignore your application.

If the defaults are removed from your credit report why are you getting turned down for credit if they don't appear on the credit report to begin with?

How low is your credit score?
