my husband just got hired on with this company. I am wondering about the housing that they offer to a family of 7 is it a house or apt.

Core Medical provides housing in apartments. Do they know you have a family of seven ? Has your husband investigated whether they will actually pay for housing for a family of seven ? I strongly suggest that he look into this.
