I am looking for a program to get into that really makes money, no scams, no Amway, but something legit. Do they exist?

For stocks, do you just buy them and hope that they go up in value? I heard that some stocks pay you money annually just so you have them. What about index/mutual funds? Also, could you give examples of such stocks/funds.

Do you have to take out taxes if you hire someone for personal work, such as mowing your lawn or cleaning your home, if you are paying them straight out of your pocket? If anyone could answer and possibly give a few references(preferably websites or books) it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I was convicted in larceny when I was younger, but a felony lasts forever. I was thinking about a career change into real estate, but I don't want to enter the field if I'll only be an agent and never allowed to become a broker. Does anyone know for sure if a larceny conviction would stop me from getting a brokers license or not?

If I work 30 hours a week at 8.04 an hour...and I claim zero (my husband claims me our son and himself) would alot of taxes be taken out weekly? I live in new york state if that makes a difference. I have had attendance issues in the past for a medical problem on my job. I got a write up for it a while ago. My child was very ill and I had to miss another day last Friday. I got to work today and they said "we have to have a meeting about this" then no one came to call me? Then someone told me that HR comes from district when they fire and they probably are coming tomorrow. My trusted coworker told me when I called in the boss said out loud to some other staff "This is it for her!!" as if to indicate a firing. My question is was it legal for her to disclose that info in her statement to staff she made? And can you be fired a day after you came back to work? This is important real answers only. I plan to use the info in case I am fired tomorrow. Thank you I live in WI.

I showed them a receipt from the ATM showing my deposit amount and it was not on my statement at the end of the month, they sat me for like half and hour and told me I could go while they "investigate" and they said this happens "rarely"
so pretty much i don't get my money right?

either wait or call cvs and go through alot of crap to get it resended which im not even sure is possible -_- what can i do, having resending the check as a final option.

Ever notice how CNN, FOX, etc. comes up with an explanation for the stock market rising or falling on a given day? They seem to pinpoint the reason for the change in the market, like "improved consumer confidence in stock 'x'" caused a 200 point gain, then the next day they'll tell you that "continued housing woes" made it drop like 300 points - as if investors didn't know that the housing market is dismal already. Where do these explanations come from? How reliable are they - thoughts?

I am interested in buying a car from a man in Utah, and I live in Massachusetts. He told me that the only type of payment that he would accept at the moment, was Western Union, but he also told us that our money was under the eBay Protection Plan. He said that he will not be able to touch our transfered money until we receive that car. My question, is how do Western Union and the eBay Protection Plan work together, to avoid this man taking my money and me receiving no car?

I was feeling dizzy, sick to my tummy, feverish, shortness of breath, my tounge was swollen & I had chest pains. I went to my manager to tell her I needed to leave early & I took an occurance for it. I had an adverse reaction to antibiotics I was taking for an existing infection I had in my heart defect. I had 10 medical staff coming in and out not sure if they had the right patient. I got the discharge instructions to be out of work for 7 days and different antibiotics in higher doses. My manager bugged me about coming back to work. I came back early still feeling sick and she gave me an occurance for everyday anyway. On my follow up appointment she called to verify the note, & I got the offical work excuse & brought it back. I am also on more antibiotics. I found out that the 1st note she had faxed to her says 1 day and not 7. The 2nd note says 7 but she didn't call to check on it. I found out she is firing me when I come in. She excused everyone else with out a Dr's notes but not me

Please understand that North Rock Lending does not exist and is a fraudulent company scamming people out of thousands of dollars. If any company asks you for money upfront to secure a loan, that's illegal. I bet they want you to western union it and then need the control number. Ever wonder why they need the control number? They don't have to produce id to collect. North Rock lending is a scam/ fraud fake company probably with terrorist ties.
